We just came back from Sedona, about 130 miles away from where we live. It's called Red Rock Country as you see in the pictures, all the mountains there are in red!
We stopped by at the quilt shop in town called Quilter's Store Sedona & Gallery.
It was my second time to visit this shop. My first visit was nearly two and a half years ago with Vero and Sylvie from France while having them in town for Merry Cox's workshop for the weekend.

I didn't take any pictures of inside, but the shop was filled with Batiks and art kind of quilts.
Speaking of the quilts, did I make any quilty progress there?
Here is the set up for my stitching time at the camp site where we got together with other friends.
Although it was not quite a productive weekend, we all enjoyed something different.
How different?
Now Ms. Limo is showing her back, means she doesn't want to remember about her thrilled experience there... What is that?It was the annual off-road festival we have participated in.
We got to see such a beautiful views from some unusual sites, I mean this was my first off-road thing and had no expectation beforehand at all! Ms. Limo and I quickly found out it might be a little more rough ride than we thought...
We didn't camp there as my suggestion. Well, I think that was the best decision we made for this trip :))) Maybe next time?

Hi, Merumo, it sounds like you had a funny trip at that week-end.
ReplyDeleteAfter looking at all your pictures,I realize it is incredible how these lanscapes are like the landscapes I knew in Oriental Senegal in West Africa : the same red earth, the same trees : really fatastic !!
furthermore, you could visit a quilt sore: really nice for you :-))
Have a nice day ,
