Journey with Podcast -Crafty

As I started working out regularly again - don't ask me how many times I've failed in the past, I started listening to the podcasts on my iPhone. Well, I guess technically, I could have tried that on my iPod, but never tried it till just past April. I found myself really enjoying listening to them now. Regardless of how much I enjoy reading, this is just great as I still can enjoy it while doing something different, just like listening to the radio shows with more specific interest at any time!!

I had no idea at first about what kind of episodes are available beside the news type of things which I'm not particularly interested in. But to my surprise, there are all kinds of categories!! Wow!!!

And another good news is there are quite few craft related podcasts we all enjoy! I quickly found some of my favorite ones and almost glued on and have keep downloading them to my iPhone! It's sure called addiction. I won't name any of them here, but if you are like me, new to podcasts and would like to take a journey through, you can search them by using some keywords like "quilt", "craft" and so on.

I pretty much enjoy anyones, especially the quilty ones with the historical things, product reviews, personal quilty stories which are very interesting and how to type of things as well.

I also discovered that there are some bloggers on my blog list who are also hosting their own podcast or being interviewed by someone's podcast.

When I just started listening to and seaching them, I tried to avoid the ones which were done with unprofessional manner, as they seemed to get annoyed at certain point as listening. But now I actually found some of them are rather interesting as I feel they are like us, just the ordinally quilters, not anyone very special. So they can deliver their own episodes with something we all a kind of agree with and had the same experiences - good and bad.

Well, while I was listening to the new episode of one of my favorites today and noticed the way the podcast hostess talks was a little different than ever. I was wondering why and didn't much care for how she has changed her talking style. Then I moved onto the next one before finish listening to the other one, and found this one is the same thing! Just way too fast!!

The above picture is a screen shot from my iPhone which shows the top right corner. Do you see "2X" on the blue back ground? Yes, somehow, I guess my iPhone was set to listen whatever with the double high speed mode!!! No wonder they sounded so fast! LOL I'm blaming on my fat finger!

The above is 1/2 speed, which is way too slow for me.

I'm now back to the normal speed mode. Phew...
Oh, she is talking about how important the value of the fabrics, not the colors... I got to pay attention now!!

Still a lot to play with the podcasts as well as my iPhone...
