Four more blocks are done and to make it like the one in the book, I need four more. But again, no more background fabrics in my stash (Can you believe that?), I had to stop here until my next LQS visit which I'm not planning for two more weeks till our SSQSG meeting- Small Scale Quilt Study Group.
Now I'm wondering if this black fabric would fit in these as one of the baskets? It looks a lot darker than others, but it may give a good spice to the whole.. I'll give it a shot anyway once getting the background fabrics.
It may be a good idea to have my friends at SSQSG look at it at the meeting to see if they have any suggestions as to what other colors I can bring into this quilt to make it more fun scrappy looking!
P/S As posting these pictures now, I noticed one of the baskets is being sewed up side down! Can you tell which one? How did it happen? It still looks like the rest unless looking at it very closely, but I guess I better fix it as I've found it is not the same. Ugh!!!!!!!!!!

you baskets are lovely ...pity of the upside down one - those things happen to me all the time, as my mind tends to drift off when sewing.

Yes, I see the upside down one, but not until you pointed it out. Sometimes it's fun to have one that is a little wonky on purpose! And - not to worry about the background fabrics - hee hee!
