Guess where I am heading to on sunny Sunday?
I'm almost there now...
Here I am at quilter's paradise!!
It was our monthly meeting yesterday,
and just four of us showed up
as the rest are either out of town
during this summer time
or busy with painting her bedroom.
Started off from Pauline's beautiful quilt.
There is always story behind and
it is a part of fun to listen to...
I love her antique Featherweight, too.
This lovely bookmark is made by Kathy.
She turned her Dresden from our last meeting
into such a cute thing!
This quilt is for her son.
She is making this for his Christmas gift.
Then Lynn's FOs and WIP.
The above miniature Log Cabin blocks are
also her WIP.
She brought them to work at the meeting.
She told us she just bought this Paper piecing pattern
at the quilt shop in Sedona
where I also just visited a few weeks ago.
I guess I missed that cute pattern!!
Having fun with gossiping,
enjoying the yummy cookies,
and of course sewing!
I brought my new project from
I don't know why,
but I feel like I would like to go wild
with the colors during the summer time.
And here is those bright colors-
including some yellows and greens from
Jo's line.
By the end of our meeting,
I finished sewing up all the red blocks.
Can't wait to see everyone again next month!
Happy stitching!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time! It is so nice to 'listen in' at the meetings of other people on another continent and find that we are all the same :-)

I really envy your membership in this wonderful group! How did you get in? I'm still looking for that booklet, but it is not in the web shop. Your bow ties are all wonderful!! And what about the sashing of the basket quilt? Did you get any wise advice?
