What am I up to in the late Friday afternoon, yet before the wine time?
I'm trying a tool called Bias Bar to make the Applique stem what I've wanted to try since late last year. It's so funny as Applique is my least favorite thing among all other methods to make the quilts, but my sticky fingers can't resist to stay away from it. I'm hoping a little practice would help someday...
This small basket block - 4" sq finished is just a trial run and I'll come back with you all next week ;)
P/S I just finished a block and am pleased with how the way the handle of the basket turned out! It's nice and even!!!

Oh WOW! I absolutely LOVE this little basket. Normally the basket block (or anything like a basket) is my least favourite block... But this one is so sweet!! Seriously! You're a quilting machine! I envy all your time to get at these things! I think a whole quilt of pink and brown colour theme and the baskets would be just adorable! Great job! Have you seen the basket quilt in the Blackbird Designs book "When The Cold Wind Blows"? Again, I don't like them normally, but I purposely looked for and bought that book for the basket quilt in it!
