One Flower Wednesday - Week 2

It's that time again! Yes, my hexie flower time! My flowers will be blooming  in the Cucti pot for now till I get more...

Look at all the hexies which have been basted already in the box? There are about 25 sets of hexie flowers to be and 30 sets more are ready to be basted :)

I have decided to have a red center on each one of the flowers. And guess what? 50 sets of pre cut fabrics are on its way!! You may wonder why?
BTW, this beautiful cartonnage box is a gift from one of my closest stiching/quilting friend back in Japan. How lucky I am! She made and sent this lovely box to me a few years ago and now all of my hexies are nicely stored there...
Then here is a little teaser for you ;)
I made this over the past holiday weekend. It's for my new quilty buddy. It was totally unexpected, yet fun! I used up some of the Jo's scraps from my hexie project as she also enjoys her fabrics. What is that? You will find out later...

xoxo,

  7. Great box! I am using a cheap-o plastic container and a zip-lock baggie! Obviously no comparison! I'm even more interested to know what that little sewn item is! And you were tricky and made the photo black and white - no colour! Ack! I'm excited to see all the rest of your hexies when they are done! Happy stitching!
