One Flower Wednesday - Week 26

Ms. Limo: Can you tell how tired I am right now?

Regardless of this heat wave melts
everything around this house,
my 100th flower just popped up!!

Yes, the one Ms. Limo tried to
show you is the 100th one!!

And now these five fresh flowers will mark
101th anniversary in my garden :)))

As the garden grows,
I've been thinking a lot more about
how I want to have these flowers
putting together to make a lap size quilt.

One thing I've been always for sure
was not to have the connecting hexies
in between the flowers to give
the richer look in the color as a whole.

But guess what?
Now I think I'm pretty positive
about having the connecting hexies!!

I'm using "Primitive Muslin"
in two shades.
I love that aged look!

One of the reasons why I came up with
this idea is just because I'll need about
50 more of unique flowers at least
to make it to the size I want,
but to do that I will have to get
50 different kinds more of Jo's fabrics!
Ughhhhhhh

As this project has started
as a sort of my stash reduction,
I'll have to keep it not to get
MORE fabrics coming into my stash!

Ms. Limo: Keep it that way!

Anyhow, I'm very happy and excited with
my 101 flowers and will still make
tons more of hexies with these muslins :)

I may put them aside for our vacation
in Colorado next month?
It'll be a perfect little hand project
to take along with ;)

Ms. Limo: Happy One Flower Wednesday!
Sorry, I just can't sit up right
 under this crazy heat xxx

*** I'm totally behind of my blog visiting,
but will catch up with you all later ;) ***

  5. Wow, that's a lot of hexagons. They look lovely on your chosen background.
Had to love at your trial to reduce stash. Doesn't that often enough ends in having more stash instead?

I fully understand where Ms. Limo is coming from. Both of my pups have been laying belly up trying to stay cool the last couple of days.
