One Flower Wednesday - Week 24

Yes, I have some flowers to share with you!

Guess how many I have now?
Thre are 92 flowers altogehter.
Yay for me!!

I made some stacks of flowers
by their colors to see what colors
I need more than the rest.

It looks like I have a lot of blues,
browns and reds.

Look what I got from my LQS?

I haven't bought any of her fabrics recently,
but could not resist these ones
as they are a little different than
her other lines.
Especially the reds are not "brick red",
it is actually "red" I like a lot :)))
Very yummy, aren't they?

As I decided to use her fabics
throughout this project,
I guess I'll need more till the journey ends!?

And it will be a little hard to do EPP
to play with hexagons after learning
but I'm sure I'll still enjoy this hand project
with some relaxing moment.

Happy stitching for all the members of

  2. Oh nice! You should lay them all out for us to see. :D :D Love the Jo Morton fabric too! I have that machine piecing hexie page bookmarked, but haven't looked at it yet. If it involves something like the zig zag stitch, then I'm out. No zig zag on a Singer Featherweight. lol!

  5. I love your hexies and the fabric that you bought!! And I just watched a video on YouTube about the machine piecing and I think that I am going to give it a try. As much as I would like to hand piece, I always have the decision - hand piecing or stitching. I end up going with the stitching!!
