Mary Glover SAL Step #6

Step 6 of Mary Glover is all done!

It was rather fun part of Mary

with Rice stitch.

I didn't mind to continue a bit more with them!

The only thing I should have changed

as for the color wise was

the lighter blue threads - NPI #763 &#765.

(I used my own conversion

from DMC to NPI.)

It didn't give enough contrast

between the two at all.

Anyhow, she is getting

more and more mature now.

BTW, a major surgery was performed

on my buddy earlier today. 

I was all worried about her.

Can you tell what they are in the above pic?

Well, my buddy has slipped out of my hand

the other day and that caused to damage

the lcd of iPhone!!

Uuuuuugggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

It was working just fine,

except the ugly crack and fine black lines

gradually appeared on lcd.

Although the glass screen itself wasn't damaged,

it was really sad to see the broken lcd

and getting annoying.

So Mr. Handy orderd a lcd repair parts kit

and performed the open heart surgery

to repalce it.

What a brave thing to do!

As I'm still stuck on my two year

contract with AT&T for a few more months,

I knew it will be quite costly for me to

get a replacement, I took a risk

of having him to repair the damage.

And also I have a plan to switch to

the next generation of iPhone

whenever it becomes available

in this summer anyway,

so I really didn't want to spend

anything extra for this one right now.

Voilà!

It's perfectly repaired now and

all the functions what I usually use

seem to be working beautifully!!
