Inspired by Susan Rambo

Ms. Limo: I'm a bad role model of good doggie
who steps on everything what mom makes!!

I finished making all the 4" blocks now.

Guess who helped me
to start making them?

Yes, Susan Rambo!

As I've been into her so much lately,
all I have in my mind is pink flowers!

But don't worry,
I won't put those blocks all around her
to finish. lol
I'm not that crazy yet.

I do have a plan with them,
but will have to wait to share with you
 till later.

Speaking of Susan,
you don't know how happy I was
last night when I found out about
all the stitches at the bottom are lined up
as charted :)))
It was nearly amazing and incredible!!

As I was anxious about finding out
if my stitches are all in place properly,
decided to put those stitches where
on the top of the grass area first to see
if I'm good to go.

Now I know they are in good place
and put a few more stitches in.

Fabric: 40ct Vtg. Maple Sugar @LLs
Fiber: called NPI w/some substituions

You may be all excited about me
so close to getting done with her.

But the reality is...
You won't see that for awhile
as I'm going to get back with
Mary Glover SAL piece now.

the final step of SAL in this morning
and that's my first thing to do
on my list this weekend.

Ms. Limo: How about playing with me?

Ms. Limo: I guess you will be busy with
Mary now. Sigh...

Mom: Your dad will be back home soon!!

Enjoy your weekend!

  1. The small blocks look so nice and flowery. I am not really a "flower girl", but I like the look of yours a lot! Can't wait to see what you're doing with them. Absolutely love Sarah! You did some great stitching....plus you did it unbelievable fast!

  2. I love how the blocks go with Susan Rambo!!! Fantastic! So pretty! Susan is looking great! I just finished all the flower border and nervously used my needle to make sure the two sides lined up. They do! Yay! I was relieved too! :D Looking forward to seeing Mary Glover. She's a pretty one! I'm glad you post pics of pretty little Ms Limo. She is so cute!

congrats on having your sampler line up, just as it should.
Poor Ms. Limo... no one to play with... you'll have to get her a baby brother or sister.

  4. Wow, grats on the progress. I think, if I were you, I'd stay with it until it is done, lol. It's too close to being finished. Love the pinks in your quilt blocks, and can't wait to see what you do with them!!

  5. Why is it that dogs and cats love getting in pictures of your craft projects....put any quilt top or blocks on the floor to stand back and look and my dog always walks through the middle or sits right on top.....and if the camera comes out to take of picture of the latest project he always makes himself very comfortable

    Mary Glover SAL
