My very first A&E sampler!
Since we have learned about A&E samplers
they have been keeping my mind and hands
very busy.
Yes, I'm totally inspired.
I really didn't realize how popular
they are till now.
They are really all over blogland!!
I feel so behind...
I opened "Betty Ring" books
as came back home on last Sunday
and found A&E sampler's articles
along with some good pictures in both.
As I'm always busy between stitching and quilting,
I wanted to start something smaller,
yet interesting one to stitch.
Here comes Sarah Seifer!!
The chart calls for 8 colors,
and I managed to find 7 of them
in my stash along with a perfect piece of
the fabric to go with.
I hardly ever just buy a fabric for cross stitch
without any particular project in my mind,
so it's another true miracle!!
(I'm sure I bought this one for "something"
was in my mind at that time though. Ughhhhhhhh!)
But still missing one more skein
which is a part of the main color
for the big tree in the center and the border
I really need now!
What a wonderful excuse to visit
my LNS twice within the same week ;)

She is coming along nicely as well.
I've put a few more alphabets
since the last post.
I'm sure her life will be back
as soon as Sarah Seifer gets done ;)
So now Limo and I are
getting ready to leave for LNS.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed
for not getting sidetracked by some other
beautiful stuff they always have in the shop
as I really would like to get to know
about A&E samplers a little more
before moving onto the next fun!
And not forgetting,
of course my dear Justine is
also patiently awaiting for me...
Enjoy your weekend :)
xoxo,
