All done, except...

Are you ready?
She's all done!!

"Fiesta! Nicola Sabieal -1818 A Mexican Sampler"
Fabric: New Castle, Cream 40ct
Fiber: NPI #504
Finish size" 20" sq

The XXX stitch part is all done!!

I carefully checked if I haven't left out
any motives on the chart
and it looks like I covered them all :)

Now what?
I still have to do the Hemstitch
all around.
Then make the tassels for
each corner to finish it.

...She really makes me work ;)
But I know it's a fun work!!

I may take a little break from her - again?,
as now my mind is busy thinking about
finishing some of my reproduction UFO samplers
and some other new ones I'm thinking about.

One of the good candidates as for
UFO smplers is her.

"Le Marquoir de Justine" by Anne Pelletier-Pauleau
Fabric: Lakeside Linens 40ct Vtg. Nutmeg
Fibers: NPI

on 10/22/2009.

It looks like there are a few more stitches
added since then.
I just don't remember what happened to her.

We will see if I can get along with her better
this time after a little over a year of absence.

Not very predictable is the right word for me!

  1. Your Mexican sampler came out fantastic. I can't wait to see when you have the hemstitch done (which I think always looks wonderful on samplers) and the tassles! It just looks wonderful!!!

And jaw drop on Justine- now I definitely have to pull mine out - yours looks absolutely incredible. I didn't realize that this piece would look so good on that fabric. Wow! I don't have near as much done on mine, so I am definitely going to have to pull mine out again as soon as I'm finished with Ann. Yours looks absolutely incredible.

Now let's talk about who is enabling who??? :o)

  4. Who needs predictability? Both of these samplers are gorgeous! I loooooove the pink one with the long name that I tried to remember but forgot anyway (my age).

  5. Aaaaahhh!! I love it! I have had that sampler in my stash for a few years. I never thought about doing it in red. I might just have to pull it out and get started. Beautiful finish! Oh, and I will be framing mine... I don't think I'm brave enough to tassle-ize anything! LOL

    Nice progress on Justine!
