After all, we came back to Temecula Quilt Co. again
to join their evening class with Nicorette.
Oh, before that,
when we made our first visit to the shop
earlier on the same day,
we met Sheryl and handed over
so that we won't forget after loosing our minds
with all the shopping madness!!
So at this point,
we officially got off the hook :)))
These envelopes are the swap blocks
from the participants.
We heard there are two groups of 18 people each.
Sigrid, are you done with yours yet?
Just teasing!!
I also made her my Bird #3 (Sewing Roll-Up)
in returning of what I received for
their On-line Quilt Run last month.
She sounded so excited about
her new creative idea with
what she is going to make over with the roll-up.
And she also said she may come back
and join the class with us :)
I was really happy to see
she seemed to like my Bird #3!
Then we finally got to shopping
after the ceremony.

Ok, then we've left for the next stops
and came back for the class.

As we came back to the shop,
Sheryl showed up
and guess what she showed us?
The above mosaic picture
is her sewing basket
with what I just gave to her in that afternoon!
She atattched that Sewing Roll-Up
on the cover of the basket with the elastic.
What a perfect idea!
Here is the pictures of how was the class looks like.
There were eight of us
plus Nicorette and Sheryl in the class.
They were all really nice and friendly to us
who are the strangers from Arisona.
Kristine was making hexagons
to make a cute bag
and here comes my Santa Nick
with the wool mat.
I've already finished that one
since came back home and need to do
the photo shooting some time to show you...
The next picture to my Santa Nick mat,
that one is a Sheryl's small quilt.
She finished binding while she was talking about
continuous binding method
she've just learned and loves it!
It was so funny the way she discribed
and everyone else in the class was
of course thrilled to hear that new thing to them.
Ok, are you all ready for the shop tour now?
Are you still awake,
or maybe passed out by now?
Almost done shopping...
Well, we both had so much fun
with all the ladies at the class
and it's time to say good bye...
Thank you for everyone
and big hug to Sheryl!!

For a small shop, it is charming and full of inspiration. Wish I could have been with you. Did you pick up JoAnn Mullaly's book? I used it to help make my pincushion.
ReplyDeleteYup just finished the blocks. I've just got 6 more left to trim to size. Thanks for mentioning me in your blog. My husband was impressed!
ReplyDeleteOk, seriously... Are there even words to follow all that wonderful shopping goodness?? HOLY MOLY!! Thanks for the fabulous tour!
