Monday morning

My lovely Monday morning has started from this-
- Dyeing the twill tape.

Although my first exam is being over now,
I still have to study for another a couple of months.
It's getting totally unbelievable kind of thing,
but I just have to do it.

So I won't be blogging as much as I used to do
for the next few weeks, few months or whatever,
but I'll still try to have a little fun
every once in a while ;)

Anyhow, the first picture of today's posting
actually all started from these goodies came from
my favorite quilt shop a couple of weeks ago.

They had On-line Quilt Run for us last month.
It was such an exciting event,
especiall during my B-Day month :)

One day, I heard from my local quilty friend,
Kristine emailed me letting me know that
they has started such fun.

We both jumped on the wagon
and placed our orders :)

The purse applique kit
which was a part of the free gift
during the Quilt Run was just nice and lovely,
so as the pretty little charm
which has that purse on it!

I quickly strung them up together
and made the scissors' fob.

Then our fun thing just didn't end,
rather continued for the next several days.
And look at what I got from them?
Yes, I won the gift basket as a grand prize of
their On-line Quilt Run!!!
How sweet it could be!?

Thank you so much Sheryl
for such a wonderful  and generous gifts!!
I was thrilled when I found my name as an winner
as well as receiving the package from you.
I'll enjoy and treasure them!

And now we are all excited about your new project,
My local friend Kristine,
Local/Twitter/LQS friend Sigrid and I
are ready for another fun :)))

Finally, back to the first picture,
dyeing the twill tape.

I'm planning to make something from the book
received as a part of the gift basket.

This is another lovely book and
I really like it a lot!!
I already have a couple of the projects
from this book in my mind...

Renee Plains who is the author of this book
lives right in the area where I live.
My very first quilt I made on my own
8-9 years ago was also used one of her patterns!

So that's- twill tape, what for ;)
Can you tell what is going to be?

Till later...
