This and that

"Katy Horn" by CHS
Fabric: 40ct Lakeside Linens,
Vtg. Exampler
Fibers: Converted to NPI
SAL with Janet and Deb @ LNS

Made our goal for this month with Katy :)

Our last part will be the sawtooth borders
in dark red right inside of the outside borders.

And now what?

"December"
Wool & Needle Handwork BOM
Center Size: 8" sq.
Wool Crazy Mat: 12" sq.

I purchased this kit from Tanya
@Friendship Crossing last week.
(She runs an Etsy Shop.)

I love kits!
It'll take me there to start whatever
I'm in the mood for right away!

As it's my Christmas project throughout
the year this year (Can you tell
I'm trying to remind myself about that?),
this cute wool mat project fits
just perfect in that theme :D

I finished stitching down all the wool pieces
last night and now am getting ready to
add some embroideries here and there.

And another wool bundle in black and greens is
for the wool crazy mat to go underneath
of the center mat I'm still working on.

I've been looking for a perfect mini quilt
fits on this table top quilt stand
I got from LQS quite a while ago and
finally found a right mini goes with it!!

BTW, we attended to our friend's wedding
in Sedona over the last weekend.

Everything was so beautiful
and we totally enjoyed our time there :)

When they come back from honeymoon,
guess what will be the next fun?
Oktoberfest!!

As I used to live in Dusseldorf, Germany
years ago, I love pretty much anything
from there :D

Off to dinner now.

  1. Love the Buttermilk Basin woolies! (I have two that I haven't started yet...) I like doing wool projects because they finish up quick and easy! Can't wait to see yours once you've added the embroidery!

  5. Beautiful stitching, Merumo! I love oktoberfesting too :) How neat that you lived in Dusseldorf! I visited Germany a couple years ago, more in the northern area, Hamburg and Berlin, and Worpswede and loved the country very much. Next time I would also like to get to Dusseldorf and Munich. It is a beautiful country. Enjoy your day!

  6. ステッチもウールもかわいらしいです!
    私もウールであれこれ作りたいのですが、日本には服地用が少ししか販売されていません。
    アメリカが羨ましいです! :))
