labor of love

Mine is done and framed!

"labor of love"
freebie @quiltsbycheri

I finished the top yesterday.
Mine is a fall inspired version of it.

Thank you Cheri for another fun mini SAL :)

I found a perfect size of the frame
which has been awaiting for "something perfect"
sitting in my sewing room forever.

All the fabrics I used in this mini
are from Cheri's scraps :D

I auditioned one by one from
the pile of the scraps,
tried not to use too much of
Homespuns as I will need them for
my planned Christmas projects ahead.

I found a few of them
seen in my stash,
but other than these in the picture,
the rest of them are truly
"unfamiliar to me" kind of fabrics :)

Now back to stitching more ornaments?
Or shall I finish the stitched ones
into ornaments first?

More serious decision needs to be made.

  13. I love your framed quilt. I honestly need to do something like this. I have a perfect place for a couple of them. It's funny though as I never really thought to frame one until I saw one done in a furniture store.
