Ms. Limo: Is autumn just around the corner?
As I just got this ornaments tree,
I started putting our fall decorations
out yesterday.
And guess who else had like minded?
She is organizing a new SAL
called "SALloween" throughout the year
till fall of 2013.
While I'm still on a mission of
Christmas projects all year long
for this year,
I couldn't resist this one :O
"Fall" Freebie
Fabric: 40ct Unknown colorway
@ Lakeside Linens
Fibers: GA, WDW and CC
Anyhow, here is my first fall ornament
I just stitched up last night :D
As I've been thinking making
some fall ornaments to hang on
my new tree, it was such a perfect
timing for me to find out all about
Anne's SALloween.
I know, I know, I still need to finish
this stitched piece as an ornament,
but I'm pretty excited
about making a couple more of them :)
Since I have zero fall theme ornament,
it will be really fun adding some
into my collection!
Now it's time to show you
some of my fall decorations so far
around the house ;)
First off is a seasonal display corner
by the sampler wall in
wine lounge room - aka Living room :O

Fabric: Birds of Feather 36ct Barn Owl

This is the area between kitchen and family room.
I see someone sounds asleep.
Zzzzzzz
Ms. Limo: No, no, I'm wide awake!!
And I have nice looking witches
above the fireplace.
Although they aren't from my needle,
they are my favorite ones!!
Going back through the kitchen area again
with smelling of freshly baked bread
for tomorrow morning :)))
My bread machine does such a nice job,
doesn't it? lol
My fall dish towel
(This was a kit from The Country Loft
a couple of years ago I got it
on my visit.)
hang on the oven door.
On the way to the master bedroom.
I'm still moving the things around to find
the best place for each one of them.
"Merry Halloween" from "Trix or Treat"
by BBD
Fabric: Vtg. Lt. Exampler 40ct
by Lakeside Linens
Fiber: WDW Mascara
Not forgetting about this lovely pillow
I made five years ago.
I can't think of anything else for now.
Ms. Limo: Anything you missed?
I don't think so...
Speaking of missed something,
I need to share more of ornament finishes.
"Four Square Christmas"
Fabric: "Patty" Hand-dyed Linen 40ct @WDW
Fibers: WDW, CC and GA
I'm all done stitching of four ornaments!
Yay!!
Now they look like this.
I will keep going with four more of them
(Repeat of the same patterns.)
so that I will have a set for myself
and another set for
Annual Silent Auction for Breast Cancer
Research at my LNS in late November.
More to finish for sure :O
Enjoy your long weekend!!
Xoxo,

If I were closer, I'd be knocking on your door! Your autumn decorating is inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI'm drooling over all your pretties!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so lovely and I'm also drooling over your treasures. I love the idea of prepping all year long for fall/halloween. At first I thought it was just for cross stitch - but when I read the "rules" it stated just about anything goes. I'm going to seriously think about it this weekend. What a perfect way to get new things worked on for my favorite season. Your little tree is awesome - I need to find something like that. I just melted when I saw Ms. Limo napping on the back of the couch - Ms. Cami does that as well - even if I'm sitting there she jumps up, runs up my chest and curls up behind me - nothing stops her lol. Give her a hug from Ms. Cami. Again thanks for the inspiration :).
