In Bloom

Adding the finishing touch.

As I was looking at the bag last night,
I felt like something is definitely missing.

I found what it was - need more flower!,
and quickly made this corsage
with the leftover linen fabric.

I referred to this tutorial
to make a rolled fabric flower.

Oh, don't worry, my cross stitch friends!
I didn't use those nicest linens we love for
our cross stitch projects for this.
Regardless of suffering from this desert heat,
I'm not loosing my mind that bad yet ;)

Ms. Limo: It doesn't smell as nice as my cookies :(

Anyhow...

I started with an 1 1/4"w (fold in half.) x 52"long strip
and ended up using three strips altogether
to make a flower which has about 3 3/4" diameter.

I tried not to roll it so nice, neat nor tight,
especially as rolling towards to the end
to give it a relaxed look :D

Although I think I could have made it
a little larger than it is,
I'm pleased with the result
with all the frays I got in my flower :)))

And here is another zippered pouch
I forgot to include in the pictures taken yesterday.

I'm still in the great obsession of
mastering making the zippered pouch!

It's still far from perfect,
but the work is being in progress ;)

Ms. Limo: Ok, mommy.
I'll see what I'm getting
in the next few minutes after being
such a nice model ;)

Talk to you all later!
