Ms. Limo: What's there?
Can you tell
I'm in the bag making mood lately?
I have been always wanted to try
using burlap for something for years.
And here it is my first burlap bag!!
I referred this tutorial
and enlarged the size to 120% as a whole,
then made it a little longer
to hold my "stuff" better.
And also my straps are made
by different way with a fusible interfacing
to give a body to it.
Now I come to think about
I may want to add more embellishment
with some vintage laces or something.
Shall I move on to some other projects
or stick with this one adding the embellishment?
Ms. Limo: Decision, decision and more decision...

your bags are beautiful! While I would normally say you should add more embellishments, I think the elegant simplicity is perfect this time!
ReplyDeleteI think that your bags are beautiful. I love the embellishments you add to them! Simple, yet elegant!
ReplyDeleteFantastic bags Merumo and a great photo of Ms. Limo
ReplyDeleteLove your bags. Embellishment makes them special.
ReplyDeleteBoth of the bags are just beautiful. I really love the burlap bag.
ReplyDeleteOh, I can comment again! :D Love your bags! You are so creative -- you've really been in a bag making mood too!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely bags you are making these days!!
ReplyDeleteThey all are so beautiful and love them so much!!
I love your taste as always!
Glad you liked my tutorial! I, too, added interfacing to the straps and also to the body. I also rounded the corners so as to not have the "dog ear" look to the corners. I did a follow up at the bottom of the post explaining these additions (including pocket and magnetic snap). Anyway...glad you are having fun with the pattern!
