Wristlet Yarn Bag

My yarn bags!

This was my first wristlet yarn bag
I made sometime last year
based on this tutorial.

This one holds only one yarn ball.

And this time, I followed this tutorial
and made the large flower prints one
to see what makes the different.
(It holds two yarn balls!)

*** The only change I made
for both instructions is
using the home decor weight fabrics
for the exterior. ***

I personally like Jeni's way
a lot better as it doesn't need to
add the wider ribbon on the exterior.

They are not meant to be
yarn bags like the way I'm using,
but I thought they are such perfect bags
for knitting companion!!

You would think they can't be that difficult
to make, but for me, it has been
one of the mysteries for the longest time
for some reason, though I have made
a couple in the past.
But none of my old drawstring bags
are as nice as these ones :D

So I'm pretty happy with
how the way they turned out!

And of course,
Ms. Limo is my best companion while
 I'm enjoying being a couch potato ;)

Oh, BTW,
My quilty/knity buddy Candace and I
are going to join Yarn Tasting
@LYS tomorrow after work.

It's Rowan Spring/Summer yarns
preview event, I think?
It will be a lot of fun :D

  4. Wonderful bags, Merumo. Enjoy your Yarn tasting. I was at the Rowan booth at the Paris Needlework show last week and temporarily lost my mind.... bought a terribly expensive mitten kit. Aaaack!! Hope you have better resistance. LOL.
