"Christmas Garden"
by BBD
Fabric: Vtg. Meadow Rue 40ct

Fibers: Belle Soie and
Frorimell by Gloriana
Size: 225W X 272H
Got a little further!
I added a few more stitches in my garden.
It looks like getting pretty close,
but not quite yet.
As we - three of us from Sampler Sunday
on March 1st, I will have to put
a turbo on my needle to turn my garden
into full blooms in a few days!
Yarn: "chikadee" kittywake 151
Needles: #4, 6 & 7 US Circs
And this one :)
I'm all done with the pattern repeat,
and now getting ready to move onto
the picot binding.
It may sound crazy,
but the first thing caught my eyes
as seeing this cowl was the picot edges.
I'm thrilled to learn how to add
such cute finishing touch :D
Although I'm all excited about
the picot edges,
I feel a little sad about replacing
the Provisional Cast On stitches
(Using the crochet chains to start
the first row so that the chain will be
removal and start another rows from
that end towards to the opposite direction.)
at the beginning with the picot edge.
Doesn't it look so perfect as is now!?
Anyhow, I better get going
as it's Sampler Sunday @LNS
in this afternoon :)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Your Christmas Garden is looking so beautiful! Yum! And your cowl -- yes! That's what I noticed first off with that pattern too, was the picot edging. It's wonderful! I'm looking forward to seeing it on your piece. I tell you, I was tempted to follow you down the knitting lane on this one, but I'm so out of practice knitting wise, I figured it was better not to. lol! Hope Sampler Sunday is fun!
