Ready for the outside borders!
This is the model picture of
what I'm working on.
Well, I was wondering if I should
do the applique Santas first,
then adding the borders.
But just because of getting tons of frays
from homespun fabrics,
I decided to piece everything first,
then will do the applique at the end.
And here is the scraps for
the outside borders.
I'm still debating whether
I should include those pumpkin colors
or not as they don't look
very Christmasy at all to me.

BTW, I'm listening to
fun Christmas songs through Pandora
on my iPhone while sewing.
It has Christmas Radio station all year long.
I'm one of the weird ones
who enjoy Holiday music a lot.
I know, it sounds a little crazy,
but I guess I got to be a bit crazy
to make Christmas projects
all year long anyway ;)
Back to sewing room again.
And hopefully Ms. Limo will be awake
when I do the next photo shooting...
See you again soon!

Oh fun! If you just use bits of the oranges, it would probably still look Christmas-y, right? As for enjoying Christmas music all the year, well my DH and DS must agree with you. They're always singing Christmas music no matter what season it is. lol!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to look great, and I would definitely include the pumpkin colours too, they're gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAs for Christmas music, I can listen to that all year round!
