1st post of the year

What are you all up to
on the New Year's Day?

about her 1st mini of the year,
I had to give up my sleep in morning!

Red + Mini = My thing!

I'm not a template girl at all,
but we all have to make
a good exception for something fun
like this, right?

Block size: 4 1/2" unfinished

Ta-Dah!
What a fun little thing :D

The reds are all from this bundle
and I went more scrappy than hers
for the background fabrics.

As for the borders,
I'm still debating on whether
having them or not.
I will see what Katie will come up
with her final decision.

Oh, not forgetting,
I think I can consider this mini
as Christmassy project
with the reds, can I?

"Christmas Garden"

Fabric: Vtg. Meadow Rue 40ct
by Lakeside Linens
Fibers: Belle Soie and
 Frorimell by Gloriana

Speaking of Christmassy,
here is the progress of Christmas Garden
I started working on last night.

It's so easy to follow the chart as
the repeats on the borders are
really "repeat",
 seems no exception so far.

And in a half an hour,
the block #8 for
is going to be revealed...

Follow the fun!
