Last day of the year

I don't really know
how it's the last day of the year today?

"Margaret Cottam"
Mystery Sampler by La-D-Da
Fabric: Vtg. Exampler 40ct
by Lakeside Linens
Fibers: Belle Soie, Dinky Dyes

I started her on last Sampler Sunday
at LNS as receiving the last part of
the mystery.

I waited to get started till all three parts
are in so that I can start from the top,
not the bottom part.

I'm just about finishing the first part
(Part III, actually.) now,
then having a bit of the challenge
reading the chart as the area
where overlap with the next part
aren't really clear at all by the way
the print turned out.

"Christmas Garden"
by BBD
Fabric: Vtg. Meadow Rue 40ct
by Lakeside Linens
Fibers: Belle Soie and
 Frorimell by Gloriana

Although I'm not really ready for
New Year's eve yet,
but I'm ready for this one :)

The picture looks really dark,
but I actually chose the fabric and fibers
a lot darker than the chart called for.

One of the reasons I pick this sampler
to get started tonight is
something to do with my new year's
resolutions for next year.

I know I haven't been able to stick with
what I said here every year in the past,
but this may work better next year
as I love Christmas projects!!

My goal is enjoying Christmas projects
throughout the year next year :)))

Of course, my WIPs need to get going,
but I'll try not start anything new
unless it's a Christmas project.

Fair enough?

May God Bless Your New Year!!
