"Diamond Delight"
by Kay Hunt @ Kay's Creations
This table runner was a class project
at our LQS about a year ago where
I met Cheryl who was the instructor
of the class.
It's sewed by "Quilt As You Go" method
which opened my eyes as
I'm not good at quilting at all.
Yes, no quilting after piecing!
Isn't that just great or what?
It was so much fun and we all finished
making the runner by the end of the class.
And some of us even finished binding, too.
Sorry, it's all wrinkled up
from the folding for such a long time
since last Christmas season.
And it's that time again now!
As I pull out the red table runner,
I got infected by a virus
called "Table runner". lol
Although I'm supposed to work on
my Christmas projects
during the holiday season,
I got a little tired of the holiday theme.
So this will be a perfect one to keep me
away from those just for now
as it's a fairly quick project.
And plus,
I've wanted to make the hourglass blocks
since some time ago
without any particular reason.
Sure that will be satisfied by this one
pretty easy....
Crazy mind, is that what people say?
I used more of CW Cronicles line
of Judie's as I enjoyed making
this mini quilt the other day.
I'm thinking to use this runner like
hers as a place mat
at the both end of the table.
I got my border fabric pick up
yesterday at LQS and
ready to add them any time ;)
Your table runner is perfect on the coffee table and I see snow people huddled on your Lil' Twister. Very festive. Looking forward to seeing how the hourglass table runner proceeds. I am going to play with pinwheels tonight!
