I've seen this one all over on blogland lately,
and of course I had to make my own!
I first saw this cute, but tricky miniature quilt
during our Shop hop tour in Southern California
in late August with Kristine.
"Primitive Pinwheels"
by Lisa Bongean@ Primitive Gatherings
Fabric: Judie Rothermel's lines
Then Kristine showed me hers the other day,
My local quilty group friend Cheryl made one,
My stitching & quilty friend chi- in Japan,
and Kathleen Tracy also made hers!
It's a pretty small quilt- 11" x 12 1/2".
You won't know how much fun
I had with making this little quilt yesterday!!
I even didn't want to leave my sewing room
untill finish binding.
But our "supervisor" (Limo's new nickname!) said,
"Mommy, how about some fresh air outside?",
so of course I had to listen to her
and took her to the park for a walk...
It was such a fun & quick method
which was totally beyond my imagination.
And you can have fun, too!
Get few scraps and ready now!
I hardly ever feel like making the same quilt,
but this may be the exception to make some more.
Yes, it was that much fun :)))
I've already figured where to put this one,
but till that time later this week,
it will stay here...
I love your pictures!!
