It's hard to believe how long
I have been away from this lovely
project - since mid last month or so?
Where did my time go?
I finally finished all the applique pieces
stitched down over the past weekend.
My blogland friend G and I got
both excited about getting started
on this one when the Winter issue of
Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine
came out.
Then of course, Ms. Diligent has finished
hers way back before Christmas time :O
Her has been quilted and bound beautifully!!
I had such a fun time
stitching them :)))
Oh besides,
I have learned a new to me kind
of trick while working on this one
filled with homespun fabrics.
My friend G was advised by her LQS's staff
to use spray starch on homespun
to get good body to them as
they tend to get curled up pretty badly.
I gave it a try and found it works
just great!
