"Civil War Block of the Month"
Block 1-4 (Nov & Dec)
hosted by Lone Star Mercantile
Block size: 6" finished
Time for BOM :D
Although I miserably failed following
this beautiful SAL at Barbara's place
while she was running Civil War Quilts
stitch along, I still wanted to make
a CW quilt during the celebration years
between 2011 - 2015.
I love this type of CW Quilt blocks books,
but I'm too lazy to figure out
the cuttings and sewing instructions
on my own.
They give you beautiful pictures of
each block and the templates to make,
besides the stories along with the blocks.
But they won't help me moving forward
to make something beautiful.
I know it's my problem and
I'm very high maintenance
in that matter, but can't help myself.
So when I happened to find this BOM,
I was thrilled and saw a bright light
right ahead of me!!
They will tuck the cutting & sewing instructions
along with the fabrics to make
each block (2 blocks/mo)!!
It can't be any easier than this deal :O
So here I am, just whipped up the first
four blocks (November and December's kits
came in the mail together.).
We shall see how it goes
by the end of next year with these.
Ms. Limo: Hoping for the best ;)
