This weekend

by Lori Smith
@From my heart to your hands
A kit from Karen
Finish Size: 10"x 10"

It's pinned!

Here is how it looks like from the back.

I just noticed that I missed by
one pin at the top :O
Crazy thing!

My plan is to make the rest -
- three more in this lovely pattern pack,

and will display them on the wall plate rack
like this one when I find it somewhere.

And if you would like to see
another lovely woolen bird,

And as for stitching,
Ann has grown a little bit.

Fabric: 40ct Vtg. Examplar
 by Lakeside Linens
Fibers: GA

It looks so soft and springy.
As I've been drown into a deep
Christmas mood this year
(I'm trying anyway!),
it looks so fresh and fun stitching :)))

But I'm going to get back with
Christmas Garden this week to finish.

I feel it's time to take care of
my garden before the weather gets
too warm later this week.
Can you believe it's going to be
in mid 80's already???

***** Prayers going out to those in
the affected areas by the tornadoes *****

Thanks for your visit :D

  6. I love how you're going to display your quilts. I think that I'm going to have to keep this idea in mind. It would be good to do something like that where I have a narrow wall!!

  8. Your Lori Smith finish is gorgeous! I really like the back ground fabric you used. They'll all look wonderful on a plate rack - though I do like the black iron stand you're using a lot too!

AS is looking wonderful - the thread colors are gorgeous on the linen.

  9. I have an old plate rack in my bedroom with 3 smaller framed samplers on it....Your quilted pieces will be perfect for such a rack! I love them...

Ann is coming along nicely...And, I cannot wait to see your BBD Christmas sampler this week also...

The weather has been very odd this winter....It just might be gardening time real soon!

    Take care, Faye
