And what else?

I told you that I'm slowly
coming back this way...

As soon as I receive the current issue of
some time late last month,
I fell in love with this quilt called
"Country Christmas" by Paula Barnes of

I ordered a kit and got started
working on the blocks a couple days ago!

And I found this is a perfect opportunity
trying out my new gadget

I'm a huge fun of the Open Gate rulers.
Yes, I'm a ruler girl :D
They are so nifty and handy!
I have all four of them now
and have used "Mini Fit to be Geese"
quite often since a couple of years ago.

I have all the fabrics cut and
all I will need to do now is to sew!
Can it be any better than that!?

Left: "Good Tiding to You"
@Christmas Ornaments 2011 issue
Right: "Silent Holly Night"
Freebie at her blog.
Fabric: Lakeside Linens 40ct
Fibers: WDW, CC and GA

And not forgetting about stitching.

Since I set my stitching theme to be
"BAPs"(Big A** Projects) this year,
I haven't stitched anything small at all.

But of course I have to make an exception
for this annual special event
hosted by my LNS,
"Silent Auction for Breast Cancer Research".

I will have to quickly finish these
into the ornaments in the next few days
as the auction date is on the 19th.

Ms. Limo: Mama still has some more
going on - knitting projects and such,
but her time has ran out for today
over the blogland.

She will need to get to the sewing room
to enjoy a rainy weekend!

See you all later.

xoxo,
