Blogger seems to be back and running now,
but I noticed I have lost a few comments
of the last a couple of posts.

Block size: 14" finish
Sorry for showing you
my burned ironing board :P
I've started some new projects
with the leftover fabrics from
"Country Charm" quilt
while Blogger was down.
You'd ask "What happened to
that "Country Charm" quilt?"
Well, it's been left out where it was
on my last post. Ughhhhhhh
I just feel worn out from making
the raffle, even after done with it,
not feeling like getting back with it yet.
Anyhow, When I first saw this post
a couple of years back,
I immediately fell in love with the idea of
making a patriot quilt with Dresden Plates!
My plan is to make it a bit larger than
the original by adding one more row.
So it'll be a lap size quilt eventually.
I've alreayd cut out all the wedges needed
to make four more blocks and
thinking about having the background
fabric in oyster.
Then I still have to make
tons of HSTs, too!
I'm hoping to finish both "Country Charm"
and "Dresden Plate" by Memorial Day to
enjoy decorating our house with
the patriot colors - red, white & blue!

And here is another new and quick
project with the same leftover fabrics.
I always wanted making this one
as I've seen quite few version of them
all over blogland since some time ago.
And figured it's the perfect time
to try making one with
all the strippy leftover fabrics from
the two recent WIP quilts now!
Now I'm ready to baste and quilt them,
but not sure if I want to try quilting
the way she did on hers - thin wavy look
as I don't have much of the confident for
the free motion quilting like that.
But thought it will be a good practice
at least before getting back with
"Country Charm" to do the free motion quilting ;)
We shall see in a few moment...
