I have my own comfort zone

Ms. Limo: What can we do for Japanese folks?

***** Click "Read more" option

*** Leave your block "as is"
per instructions. Don't trim!
Mine is a bad example :O ***

I've been wondering about that
since late last night.

I still haven't found what I'm looking for,
but just whipped up this block
for my own comfort
as seeing Cheryl's and Carolyn's
as well as LQS's blog post.

You will find block instructions here
and where to send your block.

I choose the color red and white,
just like Japanese national flag.

I've heard that Japan has officially requested
aid from the United States,
so I believe this little block will help
some how somewhere
 between here and there...

  5. We were watching the news this morning with great sorrow as they showed all the devistation. I was hoping to get here sooner and send you a note, but didn't manage it. I'm glad to hear your family is well. Great idea about the block. I hope that many more participate as well.

  9. I'm so very happy you and your family are safe! There must be so many sister stitchers there who have lost everything ~ I would love to adopt a stitcher, to send linen & silk so she might find a few minutes of beauty in such a tragedy and know how much we all care so very much globally that recovery comes swiftly.
