Ms. Limo: Woot, woot!!
Last weekend,
I took the 1st certification exam
(Not so my work related tho.)
for this year and passed!!
Yay for me :D
Although, I have two more to go
by the end of the year,
I decided to give myself a little break
before starting the prep for the next exam,
which is expected a lot more involved
with the higher level of the challenges :(
With that being said,
I've been enjoying stitching and sewing again!!
The above is a SAL called
"Summer Bow Tie Quilt" hosted by
Sheryl @TQC.
It sounded just perfect when hearing
that she will share this SAL's progress
and other fun things such as
behind the scene stuff at Instagram.
I've been on Instagram for quite some time
now through iPhone's APP and learned
it's a lot easier for me to keep up with
sharing what I'm up to with my friends.
Anyhow, I jumped on that band wagon
of making a quilt consists of between
1200-1500 of mini bow tie blocks
(2" finished) for this summer :)
I haven't totally convinced myself
if I'll make that many of these bow tie yet,
to tell you the truth.
Mines are made with Aged muslin
and scraps of reds for now,
but who knows how things could get
changed as I go ;)
And while I'm totally in the red mood
(Anything new about that? lol),
my blogland friend G (No blog.) sent me
a surprise gift - A mini log cabin quilt
in reds :O
It's hand quilted with red thread, too!
How special to receive something
lovely like this!!
I'm thrilled and honored to be
such a lucky recipient of her quilt :)))
Thank you G!
You are amazing!!

All right, will keep moving forward...
