Isabella Fox 4, maybe 5?

Now we are stitching
at the 5th part of Isabella.

You see a little cat (I think?)
in the framed area of the above
is in a bit goofy color?

I mistakenly used "Antique Rose" where
it's actually called for "Cinnamon" :O

I'm not crazy about having a kitty
in pastel pink in my sampler,
but decided to wait till finishing
the whole entire sampler to make
a final decision if I want to redo
that kitty with more kitty look like
color of the thread or keep her like that.

Fabric: Vtg. Sand Dune 40ct
@Lakeside Linens
Fibers: Called for

Other than that,
Isabella is growing nicely and
still a lot of fun playing with :D

We are on the 5th part of her this month.
One of us (There are four us from Sampler
Sunday friends @The Attic are stitching her
as SAL.) Deb finished hers last month,
but Janet, Sheri and I are still
having fun with her.

And speaking of SAL,
our next SAL project is
going to be "Elizabeth Sheffield"

She was featured as a Sampler of the Month
@The Attic some time ago.

Ever since I saw her shop model,
I fell in love with her,
however didn't go for it right away
because of the intensive over one area :O

But of course, I'm a brave girl and
didn't take much time moving forward.

It could be a life time project
(Another one?), but hoping gaining
a great motivation through running
SAL with my local stitching friends.

Ms. Limo: Anything missed?

I don't think so.
There aren't many things going on
 here lately anyway.

Oh, one thing I'd like to add
before closing here.

I owe you all who have left a sweet
comment at my last few blog posts
as I haven't gotten replied back to
all of you yet.

I'm such a bad news :(
I apologize for such a rude thing not
getting back with you in a timely manner.

Will catch up with you all later
and
enjoy your weekend!

Xoxo,

  2. I wouldn't change the pink cat. Sometimes samplers have some quirky things in them and I think that it makes them more charming!! Elizabeth Sheffield is a wonderful sampler also - I started that one a couple years ago but didn't get too far. I'll have to pull it out of the WIP bin!!

  13. How pretty ! Your handiwork is so appreciated. Took me 10 years to make mine. At the end, the only place I could work on it was outside in the bright light. Looking fwd to seeing your finished masterpiece.

  14. Beautiful sampler, and the pink cat doesn't bother me in the least... most finicky cats love to be different! And by the way, you are not being rude... you're just being busy!
