Stitching Away

A memory of a good dog...

"Good Dog Marking Sampler"
Fabric: 40ct Lakeside Linens,
Unknown colorway
Fibers: GA

My girlfriend Ms. K's doggie,
Cooper was such a sweet companion.

He was a handsome boy,
he was a funny guy and
he was really a good doggie!!

To pay tribute to the memory of him,
I turned this lovely marking sampler
into a memorial sampler.

Although Ms. Limo scared him away
whenever they used to see each other,
I'm sure she will miss him a lot...

"Merry Christmas to Ewe"
Fabric: 35ct WDW, Straw
Fibers: called GA & WDW

Sorry for not keeping touch with good friendship
 with you all lately.

I haven't written any emails back to you
since so many weeks ago.
But there is no doubt of you are always in my mind
(Isn't there such name of a song?) and
thinking about you :)

I guess I'm in a different world
called "unknown state" for now :O

I'm slowly coming back to stitching,
but not quite much of sewing yet.

Fabric: 40ct Vtg. Examplar
 by Lakeside Linens
Fibers: GA - called for
SAL with Janet and Deb@ LNS

I'm trying my best to keep up with
Ann Sandles on the top of my list.

I missed our last Sampler Sunday on
past Sunday,
but saw Janet's and Deb's progress of Ann
(Deb's Ann on P15 and Janet's on P20.)

Now we are all working on a big saltbox house!

I was looking forward to this part
as I love the look of the saltbox house :D
There isn't any here in town of course,
but I've always liked them since my first visit
to New England years ago.

BTW, I made my very first granola the other day.
It turned out so good!!

When I saw this post at one of my favorite
cooking blogs, I had to make my own :)

It was unbelievably easy to make
and good to go with anything you would imagine!

Now it's time for dinner,
that's what Ms. Limo says anyway.

Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend!!

Until next time...
Xoxo,
