Happy Mother's Day!
Fabric: 40ct Vtg. Examplar

Fibers: GA - called for
SAL with Janet and Deb
Here is the progress of my recent works.
I just reached to our goal for this month
on Ann Sandles.
She is so much fun playing with :D
It was such a wonderful feeling
spending almost all day stitching
without any distractions yesterday :O
I haven't had that luxury for the longest time
since over two months!?
Now my work has been back to
the way it always has been and
all the house guests are gone for now.
I guess not many people are that brave
to spend their time in the southwest desert
during the summer time!?
And this is my mini quilt collection
of Cheri's SAL this year so far.
She has started hosting this fun SAL
early this year as monthly thing.
I finished the ones from
January thru March,
and the tops are just hot off
the sewing machine for April & May.
I feel so great about "getting out of my box"
by following her SAL,
especially the color selections.
My most challenge is the brights.
Do I really want to use them in my quilts?
In a fact,
I have quite good collection of them
in my stash as I've tried to be choosy,
not to use them on purpose from
the bundles I purchased.
But now they are all beautifully in bloom!!
Yellows are screaming all over
so as bubble gum pinks!
Ok, that's all for now.
Thanks for visiting
and
enjoy the rest of Mother's Day!!
Xoxo,
