Found her sister

"Salome Kriebel circa 1834-1840" Reproduction by The Essamplaire
Fabric: 40 ct Zweigart - a kit
Fiber: AVAS - a kit
Stitch count: 162 x 198

I'm working on the fourth flower now. No "Red" may cause my needle's movement a lot slowing down...

Ms. Salome reminds me of "Mecklenburg 1775" which I stitched three years ago. She isn't easier than "Mecklenburg 1775" by any means, especially the thread wise. Now I have to deal with eight different kinds of colors, not just one hand dyed varigated thread. I just can't deal with more than a couple of colors at a time, no more than ten for whole entire project!! I get lost easily if I have to count over ten at a time, can't use more than a couple of colors. Is that just me? No one believes I'm in IT business...

The beautiful weekend has arrived now. We have "THE American" kind of plans for tonight and tomorrow night.
What's that? Will show you later, if I don't get too much wine...

  1. Hello,
I was following your blog and beautiful creations for a while but had a lot of problems opening the pages. It took a lot of time. I just discovered this morning that you have a new blog and I'm happy to keep on seeing everything you do in crosstitch as well in patchwork. I also do both and love the works of the Japanese quilters Yoko Saito and Reiko Kato.
Have to learn how to post from my Iphone too!!!
