They are all ready to meet you!
It looks like all the pictures taken late in this afternoon
turned out a lot whiter than they should be :(
But the muslin I'm using as a background
isn't really white, white.
Anyhow, I finished the embroidery part
as well as putting the buttons in place.
This is my favorite vintage button's jar
which is from France a few years ago
when she and Sylvie visited me :)
I used 11 buttons for this project
my little jar.
I think I've talked about this special jar
filled with MOPs and other vintage buttons
once before somewhere in my blog posting,
but the weird thing is as many as I've been
using them, it seems like getting filled by the time
when I have another chance to find
a good use of them in my project :O
Hoping Vero isn't still staying
in our attic playing that fun trick
since then ;)
BTW, I have a secret to share with you
about the buttons.
I didn't know how to put the buttons
nor use an iron till started learning
sewing/quilting a little over ten years ago.
I still seem to get confused quite often
about all kinds of stuff like that
especially related to housekeeping.
But a good news is I'm still here ;)
Getting back with my applique friends :D
All the birds and people got
their pretty eyes and faces!!
That's a good thing, isn't it?
Oops, now I notice
the drummer needs his drum sticks :O
"12 Days of Christmas"
by Cheri Payne
Size: 38" x 45" finished
I still have a couple of finishing touches
to be added to the top
before adding the borders.
But what's causing delay of
doing that is this fabulous magazine!
It has just arrived at the door
earlier this week and ever since,
I've been busy flipping through the pages :O
Ms. Limo: Can you believe that?
Anyone, tell my mama to play with me,
seriously!!
One more day till the weekend :D
