Are you in?

My new fun - Summer Star SAL
hosted by Sheryl @ TQC :)))

I pulled out my kit for Summer Star SAL
which has arrived quite a while ago.

It'll be interesting to see
how Sheryl will entertain us
with the different variation of
the center block of each Star block
every week during the summer :D

Besides, I have a few more of
another lovely 9 Patches done this week.

The size of each block is
4 1/2"finished.

The above are the newest ones
hot off my sewing machine in this morning :)

I appreciate this mindless project
during our desert heat summer so much :O

Fabric: 40ct Vtg. Examplar
 by Lakeside Linens
Fibers: GA - called for
SAL with Janet and Deb@ LNS

And here is another SAL piece
with my local stitching buddies
via Sampler Sunday @LNS.

Our goal for this month is
to finish the sampler by the next
Sampler Sunday, which is scheduled
in a week from tomorrow :O

It doesn't look like I will be able to
make it by next meeting at all,
does it?

I will see what I can do....
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh

Off to play with Ann Sandles.

  4. Yes, I am in too - the Summer Sew Along. I was excited to see this past week's instructions and ready to cut, probably tomorrow. Despite a/c it was too hot to do anything but sit directly in front of the a/c and hope I would not melt. Your cross-stitch piece is exquisite. I have so many patterns that I need to do, mostly samplers. Hmmm, now where did I did that last one I was working on........??? Now that I am in an apartment, there is just not the same amount of wall space for hanging these once frames. I once envisioned an entire wall of framed samplers, and maybe one of mini quilts.

    あわせ方がまた上手です~☆

    母もパッチ大好きで、
    昔は楽しさがわからなかったんですが、
    今になってよさが分かりるようになって来ました(´∀`)

    どんな風に仕上がるか楽しみです!!
