Ms. Limo: Is this going to be my new sweater?

Sorry sweetie, it won't be yours.
After some rehab of knitting,
I chose this pattern with
all kinds of fun stitches :D
I'm enjoying a lot of challenges
and it will be a good take along project
as Ms. Limo and I are going to stay at
our friend's over the next two weekends.
And before the cowl got started,
I finished this fingerless mitts
a couple of days ago and
finally weaved all the end yarns
into the stitches in the back.
That's my least favorite part of
the process of knitting -
finishing part, including blocking :O
But I made it somehow!

It's such a nice and smooshy yarn to knit with.
I enjoyed every minute of my time
spent with this yarn.
It was like hand therapy on your own!
Ms. Limo: Ok then, what happened to my sweater?
Me: Well, I don't have that on my list for now,
unless you beg me one for...
Enjoy the rest of you day.

So adorable!
ReplyDeleteOk, my last comment just disappeared. Should it show up again, I will try not to repeat myself in this one.
ReplyDeleteLove the color and speciality stitches on the cowl. The mitts are wonderful, but I am with you on the finishing aspect of knitting. Way down on my list of things I like to do.
I am with Ms. Limo - she definitely needs a little sweater.
Yo no hago punto, pero los colores son preciosos.

Merumo, your knitting is wonderful, your tension perfect and I love the colours of the wool. I have a problem with tension when I knit,so I stay with small items such as baby clothes :)
ReplyDeleteMs Limo looks very attractive modelling your knitting for you :)
How gorgeous! I love the cowl you're knitting -- such a pretty color! Love the mits too! Your knitting is so perfect! Poor Ms Limo wants a sweater. But you should tell her where you live she doesn't need one. :D
ReplyDeleteThe cowl is just lovely and de mitts are fabulous!! it looks very difficult Merumo for a non knitter that is, lol.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend with ms Limo and your friend and look forward to what you have achieved! :)
A perfect knitting, I like the colors of these wools seem very soft to the touch, Ms. Limo would be very pretty with a wool coat
