Limo's Dream Quilt

Limo's Dream Quilt - Disappearing 9 Patch
Size: 39"x 52"

Ms. Limo: Mommy finally finished MY quilt!

Ms. Limo: Is anyone would like to take a look at
the back side as well?
If you give me a yummy treat,
then I'll show you more ;)

I finished this one yesterday and
threw it into the washer/dryer last night
with these two small ones.

As for the machine quilting,
I decided to go with Free motion- stippling,
instead of the flower motives
what I originally planned
as I found I still need a lot more practices
before I can actually apply the flowers
onto the larger quilt.

I love the puffy vintage look a lot!!
Thanks Ms. H for a good advice :)

Ms. Limo: They are both mine, too.

Sorry, I have a little different plan though.
Here is a corner of our living room
where we have some of my framed works hanging.

And thie easel is supposed to be for
the "seasonal" framed work,
but it's been not changed since this applique...

So next time when I make something ,
a small seasonal quilt,
I will make sure to make it to fit in a frame
like some of the Lori Smith's patterns
so that I can enjoy it with just setting on the easel.

Well, it's that time again!
I'll be in Intense School to get certified with
something work related for the next few weeks,
till mid next month.
So my fun time with needlework
will be very limited and I'll put my blog
on vacation for a while.

I'll still post my progress of some projects
I've signed up for-
 One Flower Wednesday, Clamshell Club
and fun meetings during this period ;)

So see you all in a month
and have a wonderful summer!!

xoxo,

  2. Look at little Limo, she's so precious! What a sweetheart on her own little quilt! I also glad to hear that the washing tip worked to your liking! I pretty much always do my quilts that way (unless for some reason it's super huge and would be way to heavy if it were extra wet before the dryer). I am still wading my way through my bedroom do-over, but am almost finished - maybe by Sunday morning. Have a great month and I'll be watching for your lovely pics when you have a moment here or there.
