Happy Easter/Spring mini!

This basket quilt has been on my list

to make for a while.

But it seems not happeninin any time soon,

I thought why not just making a block

to get a feel of it for now?

I actually finished two at the same time.

One for my lonely mini quilt tabletop stand,

and the other one for my secret pal

as a surprise spring gift. 

(Oops, isn't Easter tomorrow?)

When I started piecing the basket blocks,

I didn't intend to make something

fitting to this tabletop stand.

It just turned out as perfect like 

you see in these pictures :)

As prepping for quilting,

it popped up in my mind telling me

how about adding a sleeve so that

it may fit on the stand?

How funny!

And adding wool bunny applique idea came from

this freebie which came with CW BOM for this month.

Bunny was such an ideal thing for Easter!!
